This is an old-fashioned, word-of-mouth type business. Why? Because there is only one writer, interviewer, researcher and that's me! Generally, half is due up front and is not refundable.

News BRIEFS, $450 to $800.

BIOGRAPHIES. The time involved in each project varies. Larger biographies generally fall in the $1,600 to $3,200 range. Smaller biographies generally range from $800 to $1,600. Let's meet some of these "biographies:" Orphan Train rider Marie Burke; world adventurer Eileen Baldwin who served in the RAF in WWII; and Vietnam veteran David Hardcastle. I have written a few, nearly book-size biographies. These prices are determined by the project.

PORTRAITS & ROOTS interview/stories on artists are generally $800 For a sampling, meet musician/artist Steven Roark.

 

COMPANION BEST FRIEND stories are generally $400. 

 

Each story involves the interview, by phone or email - and in person if you are very local. We'll discuss photos. I do take photos. I do accept good photos via email. There is fact-checking and research involved in each story, both are very time intensive. Just saying!!

 

After all this, I write up a page-turner!

 

Once the final draft is approved, the completed story is emailed to you as a pdf file. Send it out to everyone you know! If you don't have email, I will email it to your family member or friend. It will also go up on my website, unless you would prefer to just keep it in your family.
